Objective To analyze the medication pattern of”Jingyue Quanshu·Furen Gui" for treating metrorrhagia and metrostaxis using data mining. Methods Screening the formulas for treating metrorrhagia and metrostaxis in"Furen Gui", and mining their medication patterns for treating metrorrhagia and metrostaxis using frequency statistics, association rules, cluster analysis and other techniques. Results A total of 52 formulas were obtained, involving 85 flavors of traditional Chinese medicine, with a total cumulative frequency of 346 times. Commonly used Chinese medicines included ginseng, radix glycyrrhizae preparata, angelica, etc; the main medicines were deficiency tonic and astringent, etc;the medicinal properties of the medicines were cold;the medicinal flavors were mainly sweet, bitter,and pungent;and the attributed meridians were mostly the liver meridian and the spleen meridian;the analysis of the association rules yielded 24 groups of core medicinal pairs;and the clustering analysis yielded 4 new formulas. Conclusion The study utilized modern statistical methods to mine the data of the prescriptions of "Furen Gui"for the treatment of metrorrhagia and metrostaxis, and it can be seen that Zhang Jingyue has distinctive features in the treatment of metrorrhagia and metrostaxis, which can be used as a reference for the use of medicines in modern clinical treatment. However, this study is limited in analyzing and mining the drug formulas for metrorrhagia and metrostaxis, and further research is needed. |
