??Objective? To evaluate the clinical efficacy of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) triple therapy in preventing and treating complications after laparoscopic hernia repair. ?Methods? Eighty patients undergoing laparoscopic hernia repair between January 2024 and December 2024 were randomly divided into two groups (40 cases each) using a random number table. The control group received routine care, while the TCM triple therapy group received additional interventions, including?Buzhong Yiqi Decoction, external herbal compress, and wrist-ankle acupuncture. Outcome measures included clinical efficacy, abdominal distension, pain scores, recovery indicators postoperative complications, T-lymphocyte subsets (CD3+, CD4+, CD8+, CD4+/CD8+), and inflammatory markers (CRP, IL-6). ?Results? The TCM triple therapy group demonstrated:A higher total effective rate compared to the control group (P<0.05).Lower abdominal distension and Numeric Rating Scale (NRS) pain scores at postoperative day 3 and week 1 (P<0.05).Shorter time to first flatus, oral intake, and hospitalization (P<0.05).Improved T-cell immunity (increased CD3+, CD4+, and CD4+/CD8+; decreased CD8+) and reduced CRP and IL-6 levels compared to the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion? TCM triple therapy promotes gastrointestinal recovery, alleviates postoperative pain and distension, reduces inflammatory responses, enhances immune function, and minimizes complications, thereby accelerating postoperative rehabilitation. |
